A junior at Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth, Eric Trevino, died Friday when the car he was a passenger in was involved in an horrible automobile accident. According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the car was racing when it crashed on 8th avenue, about two miles from Trimble Tech. Two other students were inured and are reportedly in critical condition.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the friends and family of Ericand the other students that are in critical condition. Hopefully the other people who were in the collision have a quick recovery. According to the news, Eric was an outstanding baseball player and was passionate about baseball, wanting to play in the major leagues.
Street racing is very dangerous, as we all know. It can all happen so fast--sometimes as fast as two cars randomly stat racing after being beside one another at a stop light. The area where the accident occured in very busy, so racing around there will increase the chances of a fatal wreck.
