There are plenty of events happening around DFW this holiday season to help get you in a festive mood:

Arlington: The Interlochen neighborhood has become famous for their displays. More than 200 homes take part in this free drive through tour which runs from December 12-31 this year. Be warned though; it’s so popular you could be in traffic for a long time.
Grand Prairie: Lynn Creek Park hosts the Prairie Lights – a two mile long drive through experience that also has a carousel, carnival rides and a music choreographed lights show all included for the admission price of $30 per car for up to eight people.
Fort Worth: Sundance Square has the Christmas tree, but Casa Mañana on West Lancaster has Santa Claus: The Musical, running until December 23. Tickets start at $12.
Grapevine: Christmas on Main Street has horse-drawn trolley rides, kids’ activities and free kettle corn every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until the 18th. Also in Grapevine, the Gaylord Texan has a Shrek-themed ice sculpture display until January 1st.
Dallas: The annual Candlelight event at Dallas Heritage Village has carriage rides along candlelit paths, with storytellers and choirs providing the entertainment. This year’s dates are December 10 & 11. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $8 for children and $10 for seniors.
