One Step Closer to Texting Ban in Arlington

At last night's Arlington City Council meeting, a proposed ban on texting, playing games or reading emails on your phone while driving took one step closer to becoming law. The ban passed by a 4-3 vote in its first reading, but still has to go through one more vote before it becomes law.

If passed, Arlington would have the strictest distracted driving laws in the DFW area.
