Euless police say Heath, 30, died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth shortly after the collision.

Heath was hit by an 18-year-old Euless driver. According to Euless police reports, the driver stopped immediately after hitting Heath. Heath, who was wearing dark clothing, tried to cross in the middle of the street where there was not a crosswalk. No charges are expected to be filed in the case.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. in the 500 block of South Industrial Boulevard in Euless.
No other injuries were reported.

It’s devastating to hear about pedestrians getting hit by drivers who just didn’t see them. Remember that crossing a street is always dangerous. When out walking or jogging try to wear bright clothing and only cross streets at crosswalks. By following those tips you can greatly reduce your chances of being in a pedestrian accident.
