Tarrant County Has Fourth Most Fatal Wrecks In Texas

TxDOT’s annual crash data report has revealed that Tarrant County had the fourth most fatal auto accidents in Texas in 2013. Harris County topped the list, followed by Dallas and Bexar.

Predictably, Fort Worth was the city with the most total crashes in Tarrant County, but Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Hurst all also had more than a thousand wrecks each. Hurst almost joined this group, with 999 wrecks occurring in the city.

Out of the whole of Texas, Fort Worth had both the fifth most total crashes, and the fifth most auto accident fatalities.
