Q
Can I sue the city or state for my personal injuries?

A
If your personal injuries were the direct result of negligence from the city or state you live in, you do have the right to pursue a claim against them.

An example of this would be if you or a loved one were hit by a city vehicle, like a bus or a trash truck. In that case, you would be able to file a claim against the city for your injuries and medical bills.

Fort Worth accident cases where the city is at fault can become very complicated. Plese note that the Texas Tort Claims Act requires you to notify a government entity of your intent to bring a claim againtst them within 6 months after the accident occured.
