What is the FDAs Actos Warning?

In June of 2011, the US Food and Drug Administration issued a warning about the Type 2 diabetes drug, Actos and its link to bladder cancer in users. In its warning the FDA said that "use of the diabetes medication Actos (pioglitazone) for more than one year may be associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer."
