Dangerous Drugs
It seems like every year there is at least one major pharmaceutical drug which is withdrawn from the market due to the injuries and death suffered by those who ingested these drugs. With the FDA oversight, one has to ask, "How did these dangerous drugs get to be sold to the public in the first place?" After years of fighting these pharmaceutical companies, I have learned that many of the dangerous side effects are hidden from the FDA, which is the part of the government responsible for approving and overseeing prescription drugs. If these side effects had not been hidden, the drugs would have never gained FDA approval to begin with or would have been withdrawn much sooner.
I have helped over a thousand victims of bad drugs or devices recover compensation for their injuries. I have handled claims against the largest drug manufacturers in the world, including: Wyeth, Bristol Meyers-Squibb, Merck, Bayer and Baxter Health Care.
Unfortunately, there is a chance in the near future that the United States Supreme Court will take away the right to bring a claim by the victims of dangerous drugs. For a discussion of the horrible concept of "federal preemption" and how it may affect your rights, click here.
I am currently reviewing cases where injuries were caused by the following drugs:
Avandia: A drug designed to help adults with diabetes, which is now known to cause heart problems.
Heparin: A blood-thinning drug with contaminated vials leading to many serious injuries and deaths.
Chantix: A drug intended to help people stop smoking has been linked to depression and suicide.
If you were injured or have lost a loved one and you think these drugs may have played a role in the injury or death, then please call me toll free at 877-294-1115 or Contact Me Online.
