Bizarre Case Of The Month - May 2009

In the injury law business, we get to see all kinds of crazy things that cause accidents and personal injuries. I recently resolved a case in April where a lady was driving on the freeway while, according to the police report, "expressing breast milk from a pump." She ended up rear-ending our clients' car at 60 miles per hour-which resulted in major damage to the couples' Volkswagon Jetta. The car was unrecognizable in photographs. My clients' injuries included broken ribs and fractured vertebrae, which eventually healed. The breast pumper's insurance company didn't even try to offer up an excuse for her actions! I like to multi-task as much as anyone, but being a male, I've never had the opportunity to try that trick.
