What damages are recoverable in an injury case?

If you have been hurt as a result of someone else's negligence, you are initially focused on your injuries. Soon, however, the bills start arriving and reality sets in. In Texas, the law allows you to recover compensation for the following damages relating to your bodily injury:

Medical Bills--This includes everything related to the accident (hospital, surgery, physical therapy, medical equipment, doctors, chiropractic, pharmacy, etc.).
Future Medical Bills--it will be necessary for a doctor to support the need for any future medical treatment.
