Just in time the evening rush hour, a flatbed truck was involved in an auto accident on I-20 this afternoon traveling westbound from Dallas towards Fort Worth. The truck was carrying bales of hay which were scattered across the roadway when the vehicle jacknifed according to early reports. At this time, there are no reports of any injuries, but given the situation it would be extremely fortunate if no-one was hurt. As a DFW personal injury, I know that commercial truck crashes are generally very serious and this sounds like a particularly dangerous situation. More details on what caused the wreck should be made public soon. In the meantime, commuters should expect slow-moving traffic near Cedar Ridge Road as you head from Duncanville into Grand Prairie and into Arlington.
