Can you imagine having the same stomach ache for 37 years? Sounds awful, but for one unfortunate man in China it was his daily struggle until after almost 40 years he got to the root of the problem. In 1974, medics forgot to remove a four inch surgical clamp from the man's body during a procedure to remove a stomach ulcer. Because of this retained foreign object, the man has had to be on pain medication for almost four decades! Thankfully, a recent x-ray revealed the root of the problem. Let's just say I won't be going to China anytime soon for my medical procedures! If he lived in America this would definitely be grounds for a medical malpractice lawsuit.

As a personal injury lawyer in Fort Worth, the types of vehicles involved in most car accidents usually aren't all that lavish, but it seems that in Monte Carlo there aren't many Toyotas and Hondas rolling around. A woman in Monte Carlo was involved in probably the most expensive car accident I've ever heard of when she caused $1.1 million five-car pileup involving a Bentley, a Ferrari, an Aston Martin, a Mercedes-Benz and a Porsche. First she crashed her blue Bentley Azure into the Mercedes and then luxury car chaos erupted. How many Bentleys are even in Texas do you think? I'm just throwing this out there, but I'll take a dinged up Bentley - no problem here!
