Tweens can take a sigh of relief. The star of Nickelodeon's show ‘iCarly', Miranda Cosgrove, is going to be fine after breaking her ankle in a bus accident in Illinois Thursday. The truck accident happened when Cosgrove's bus collided with an overturned tractor-trailer early Thursday morning near Vandalia, Ill.Cosgrove was taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital for her broken ankle and two other people had to be taken by helicopter to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
The bus wreck happened after the tractor-trailer flipped in to the median on Interstate 70. The driver of the truck was trapped inside when the ‘iCarly' star's tour bus hit part of the trailer that was sticking out in one of the westbound lanes.
Cosgrove's spokesperson, Gina Schulman, said "Miranda thanks everyone for their understanding and support." She also said that Cosgrove's "Dancing Crazy Summer Tour" is postponed until further notice.
