Drunk Driver Arrested for Causing Dallas Wreck

An accident occurred early Friday morning that left a passenger in critical condition.

Police responded to the scene of wreck on Interstate 35 and Royal. According to witnesses, a speeding Camaro was left disabled after rear-ending an 18-wheeler. A Honda CR-V then hit the Camaro, forcing the Camaro onto the left shoulder of the highway. A Chrysler 300 then hit the Camaro. The Chrysler 300 was abandoned at nearby Harry Hines Boulevard after fleeing the scene.

The passenger in the Camaro, to whom CPR was performed, is under critical condition. Police placed under custody a suspected drunk driver that caused the wreck.

At my firm, I’ve seen countless victims of drunk driving accidents suffer very serious injuries, but it never gets any easier, especially since drunk driving accidents are one hundred percent avoidable. I know this must be a difficult time for the victims and their families, and I wish them a speedy recovery.
